Lollipop Flower Workshop
Saturday, June 6, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Smoky Hill Quilt Guild
Are you tired of being intimidated by reverse applique? Come learn the Eye of the Beholder way with fellow quilters. Its fun!
Quilters will learn their skills on the small, simple Lollipop Flower(7.5" x 7.5"). Grow in confidence as you learn how to: reverse applique by hand using trace, baste, snip & stitch! And by Machine using trace, iron, snip & stitch-including the time saving process of Appli-quilting! And you will learn how to add applique dimension to your reverse applique piece!
Finish your Lollipop Flower as a potholder; put it into your own quilt; make a quilt's worth of these blocks to make a garden of cheerful Lollipop flowers.
You will be empowered to tackle another more intricate pattern, or to finish your Hawaiian style quilt with our process.
This is not your grandmother's reverse applique, but the Eye of the Beholder way! Its fun and ever so much easier than you think!
