Make a Tudor Rose Mug Rug-Hand : Virtual Class

  • Eye of the Beholder Quilt Design 2324 Carriage Dr Milliken United States (map)

Join the fun on Zoom! Be empowered!

Our elegant, yet playful Tudor Rose Mug Rug is made with Reverse appliqué combined with appliqué. This gives a unique, dimensional look to your piece! The techniques we use are the same for both appliqué and reverse appliqué. It’s just a matter of knowing where to cut to create your seam allowance.

The mug rugs are fun to make for yourself or to give as holiday gifts.

You will learn our quick and easy steps in Eye of the Beholder’s trace, baste, snip and stitch process to hand reverse appliqué and then appliqué.  You will get pointers on how to successfully needle-turn appliqué, giving you crisp points and graceful curves. See the dimensional magic of the Tudor Rose Mug Rug (8” x 8”) revealed as you stitch.  Learn with others and experience the fun and beauty of reverse appliqué by hand.
