Quilting: A Creative Act of Hope

Margaret Brewster Willingham, the founder and creative force behind Eye of the Beholder Quilt Design.

Quilters take the scraps of their lives and make something new out of them. They daily stir up hope within as they put together color, pattern and design. Whether by hand or machine, quilters create, one stitch at a time, giving us the opportunity to slow down on this creative journey. Each quilt made is tangible love: a gift for others or a spot of beauty for their own homes. Be inspired to live a creative quilting life as you get to know Ms. Willingham and her quilts.

At all trunk shows attendees will get a glimpse into the interplay of color, pattern and design Ms. Willingham uses. Gain an understanding of the techniques she employs, Trace, Baste, Snip & Stitch and Trace, Snip, Iron & Stitch, to create her reverse appliqué patterns by hand and machine.  Be encouraged to trust your creative instincts as you quilt, adding a touch of elegance to your life.
