All About the Stitching: Hand

Saturday, April 23, 2022, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm (MT)

Class size limited to 20. Pattern included.

Offered again by popular demand. This is your opportunity to learn our method for hand reverse applique and to practice your needle-turn stitching technique without worrying about “ruining” the project you are working on. I will teach you how to get clean 90 degree inside and outside corners/ points, sharp acute inside and outside points without and smooth graceful curves. We will look at how you hold your fabric, needle and thread, and other mechanics of hand stitching for optimal results and healthy body mechanics. For those who are ready, we will discuss how to make your stitches more invisible. The same principles apply to hand applique as well. Don’t leave your stitchwork to chance any more, but find your rhythm and flow and enhance your relaxation, joy and peace as you stitch. Let me share with you the secrets and help you get the results you would like.

The pattern I’ve developed to use is imminently practical! And it will open up a world of creative possibilites for you to successfully master any pattern you want to do!
