New ideas...Part 1. Inspiration.

 While staying at my sister-in-law's home for the 2013 Houston International Quilt Festival, I found this wrought iron piece in her lovely home.

She opened her home to me and my sister Barbara with generous care, providing delicious food and loving care. I envision this as a new table runner..a touch of elegance to match her elegant grace. 

As I was driving home my car detoured in Colby, Kansas to Quilt Cottage Co., a fabulous shop full of even more fabulous batiks.  Some of those fabrics just had to come home with me.  And two of them are perfect for the first rendition of this new table runner..just for my sister-in-law.
