reverse applique with applique pattern - hand and machine directions
(15" x 46")
This table runner was inspired by the Art Deco era of the 1920’’s-30’s.. “Art Deco was an art style that was characterized by vivid colors and daring geometry that led to extremely luxurious and detailed artworks.” Now you can bring that vivid geometry into your dining experience with our newest table runner for hand or machine reverse applique with applique.
The two colorway combinations evoke the popular colorways of the era: red, black and white Colorway- we stitched by hand; black, white and vivid multiple colors - we created by machine. All fabrics are from the foundations collection by Island Batik, so they never go out of print.
Pattern has complete creation instructions using Eye of the Beholder’s Trace, Baste, Snip & Stitch technique, supported by Technique Tutorials and blogs on this website, and full-size, durable pattern pieces. There’s never a need to enlarge the pattern or re-position fabric.
Try it in similar colorways as we did, or re-imagine Deco Diamonds in your favorite fabrics.
This pattern is available as a digital PDF download as well.
