Americana was designed for Island Batik, using their Sail Away collection, spring/ summer 2021. The pattern can be made by hand or machine reverse appliqué with appliqué.
A word about the fabric: The blue fabric in this collection has a nap, or direction. This was taken into consideration in the cutting and making of the pattern. As you are making this quilt you will want to take some time to get acquainted with the blue fabric and how the nap is used in relationship to the pattern design.
